He intends to compete in the 100-meter event at the 2028 Summer Olympics, according to IShowSpeed.

"2028, I'll be running in the Olympics for sure," he declared during the weekend's ComplexCon.

In response to a question about his race plans, IShowSpeed said he will run the "100m and 50m, and maybe 20m." When told that there is just the 100m, he said, "You know what I mean, well 100m then."

When IShowSpeed tried to outrun Noah Lyles in a 50-meter race for $100,000, it made headlines. After winning the 100-meter dash in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Lyles is regarded as the world's fastest man.

The streamer reported that the race ended in a draw, but Speed fell to Lyles despite his strong effort. "There's a reason I'm called Speed," he stated.

Speed stated that he "could have beat Noah," but had a rough start, when questioned about the preparations for the race against the Olympian.

Speed also mentioned that he didn't have enough time to warm up or stretch since he had "tight cramps" in his legs after his lengthy journey.

Following several practice runs, the self-described "world's fastest man" projected that football player Tyreek Hill would be "ducking the smoke" in a race with him after describing how he was able to vault over a racing Lamborghini and McLaren.
